Hi I am Io.
The joy of having your own website is that you really don't have to worry about censorship. For the longest time I have wanted to write authentically about who I am and what I do.
For over 15 years of my life I have been a software engineer, project manager and people focused leader. I have had the pleasure of having led monumental transformations of people, outcomes and companies.
I take great pleasure in leading by example, in a time where being different is mired in discrimination, shame and exclusion I want to take a stand. It is critically important that we are more visible than ever to take a stand against oppression.
Projects
The Sex Menu Card Game
This was such an amazing passion project to do with my life partner Kayleigh. What started as a set of flash cards written by hand, evolved into a fun game that allows a number of people to play together with a clear focus on being able to ask for what we want.
By creating our sex menu as a set of cards it enabled us to make it significantly easier to be able to share with another person exactly what we enjoy and want. This is also great for solo and self‐care activities too like having a bath.
This is was our first version and it was so much fun to work with an AI to make all the cards. As we continue to learn more about what we like we will continue to add to the deck.
I hope by making this tool as accessible as possible, we empower people to have better conversations with each other and ourselves about what we want. By making fun, personalised ways to create a scene we encourage people to be courageous and creative in getting their needs, wants, and desires met.
Having created our first version and had it printed. We released it to the world.
